Mounting Pin Set Instructions
Please follow these instructions when using the MAXTRAX Mounting Pin Set
Use only 10mm Stainless Steel nuts & washers or channel nuts for channel-type bars.
(Available from most good auto parts stores or Rhino Rack)

Ensure all 4 pins are used for mounting.

Layout dimensions.

Pins MUST be mounted vertically so that the MAXTRAX are carried horizontally.
Please note: You will need to trim 15mm off the thread for use in channel-type roof bars.

Ensure pins are aligned so that the padlock hole in the top 'knuckle' is visible once the MAXTRAX are locked down.

For additional security, fit a small padlock through the most easily-accessible mounting pin.
A wire combination padlock is the best option (they are readily available and you can't lose the key!).
